Empowering youth and adults through environmental education.

Our mission is to uplift the well-being of the community and environment through experiential, nature-based programs.

By providing hands-on environmental education to urban youth and adults, we empower leaders and cultivate a connection to the natural world and local watershed.

We work tirelessly to ensure underserved communities can pursue meaningful outdoor experiences.

Watershed and Environmental Education

We provide hands-on environmental education to children and adults. Nature-based education focuses on underserved student groups, families, and local schools. Classes take place in city parks and on excursions outside the city. Students become empowered and trained as community leaders. All community programs are youth-led and language support is provided for families in over 5 languages.

Recreation and Wellness Programs

We create programs that incorporate play, adventure, and team building. All our programs focus on listening to community needs first and empowering youth and adults to become leaders for change.

Support for Communities

Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond one-off programs to help ensure families have the necessary support to do their best. In addition to our programs, we work to support and find resources for underserved urban communities to lead their own community programming.

Sustainable Food Production and Distribution

We grow healthy food through programs that support community development. We provide fresh produce to the underserved and food insecure in the local community. Our programs include supporting home gardeners, providing free seeds and seedlings, growing in neglected spaces, and more.
